INGREDIENTS (for 2 servings)

  • 2 table spoons of butter
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • 4 pork chops
  • 150g wild mushrooms
  • 1 table spoon of dijon mustard
  • 1 table spoon of wholegrain mustard
  • 1/4cup of white wine
  • 1/4cup of boiled water
  • 1/2teaspoon black cracked peppercorns
  • 1/4cup of cream

METHOD
Step 1
Melt 1tablespoon of the butter in a frying pan,add the onion and garlic and fry for one minute stirring

Step 2
Next add the mushrooms and sautéed for two minutes stirring.Then set asside

Step 3
In another pan add a little butter and add the chops just to brown on both sides.Cook for five minutes on medium heat then set aside.

Step 4
Bring back the onions and mushrooms in the pan and heat up.Then add the wine and let it bubble for one minute then stir

Step 5
Add the water and mix.Add the Dijon Mustard and the wholegrain and stir in.Let it stimmer for one minute

Step 6
Add the cream stir in the add the chops to an oven dish and pour the mushroom and sauce all over the chops

Step 7
Place in the preheated oven 160°C for fifteen minutes.
