CLARE will face Cork in the All-Ireland SHC final after the Rebels ended Limerick’s bid for a historic five in a row.

Both counties will be appearing in the biggest day of the hurling calendar and it will be their first All-Ireland final since 2013 when Clare prevailed against Cork following a replay. Clare advanced to the decider after recording a two point win over Kilkenny on Saturday, producing a stirring comeback in the second half.

Croke Park will be the setting on July 21st for the clash of the sides who already met in this year’s Munster SHC when Brian Lohan’s Clare recorded a 3-26 3-24 victory against Pat Ryan’s charges down in Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Cork emerged victorious against Limerick in front of a full house at Croke Park on Sunday, winning 1-28 0-29 in what was an outstanding contest.

Clubs in Clare are awaiting details on procedures to be followed for the distribution of tickets to club members for the final.
