AFTER an initial setback, Clare’s senior hurlers are back in championship contention after emerging from Páirc Uí Chaoimh with a two point win over Cork.
It is Clare’s first Munster championship win at the Cork venue since the 1997 provincial final and puts them right back in the mix to qualify.
Clare’s win is the key focal point of the latest episode of The Water Break where Páraic McMahon is joined by ex Clare goalkeeper Andrew Fahey and current Scariff senior hurling manager Mark McKenna.
