CLARE have named the same starting team for the second round of the Munster SHC but changes are expected for their clash with Cork.ย

No changes have been made in the Clare team announced via its supporters club, Club Clare from that which lost out by three points to Limerick last weekend. However, the named team for the first round showed three changes prior to throw-in and once again it is expected that the team named by Club Clare will not be the one which takes to the field in Pรกirc Uรญ Chaoimh.

Darragh Lohan is a major injury doubt even though he is listed at midfield, the Shannon man is understood to have strained his hamstring in the closing stages of the Limerick game. If Lohan is not fit enough to be included in the matchday panel, it will mean a player not named in the twenty six will be handed the number nine jersey.

Conor Cleary is also feared to be an injury worry for Clare but the Miltown Malbay man remains in contention to fill out his familiar berth at full-back.

Tony Kelly is tipped to make his first start of the year for Clare in what could be one of a number of changes made by Brian Lohan and his management team.

Cork have made six changes to their starting fifteen which lost out by three points to Waterford in Walsh Park on Sunday last. Niall Oโ€™Leary, Eoin Downey, Tim Oโ€™Mahony, Ethan Twomey, Declan Dalton and Brian Hayes all come into the side, meaning manager Pat Ryan has changed every line on the pitch.
