MARK FITZGERALD has named an unchanged Clare team for their second outing in the 2024 Allianz National Football League.
Clare travel to Cusack Park in Mullingar where they face Westmeath and look to put successive wins together following their one point victory over Sligo last weekend.
Cillian Rouine makes a return to the Clare panel, a hamstring injury has kept the Ennistymon defender sidelined for all of the countyโs games so far this year. He enters the panel at the expense of St Josephโs Miltownโs Kieran Malone.
Brian McNamara and Gavin Murray who played together at midfield for the first time a week ago are retained as the preferred choice in the middle of the park.
Kilrushโs Stephen Ryan serves as captain between the posts with the full-back line consisting of Manus Doherty, Ronan Lanigan and Micheรกl Garry.
Alan Sweeney stays at centre-back where he is flanked by Ikem Ugwueru and Daniel Walsh.
Leading scorer in Clareโs opening round win, Emmet McMahon continues at centre-forward with Dermot Coughlan and Ciaran Downes either side of him while the full-forward line is comprised of Aaron Griffin, Mark McInerney and Shane Griffin.
