In May, the Shannon Lions Club held a vintage car rally in Bunratty. Of the funds raised, €500 will be donated to Children’s Cancer Awareness and €300 to Bunratty Search & Rescue.

Presently there are ten members of the Shannon Lions Club with new individuals always welcome.

Speaking at the AGM, Tony thanked all personnel for their support throughout the year and the public for rowing in behind their church gate collections and flag days along with the local companies who made donations.
