TERENCE FAHYโs Clare U20 team to take on Tipperary in the first round of the Munster championship has been named.
A total of twelve clubs are represented in the starting fifteen with only Feakle, Killanena and Clooney/Quin having more than one representative in the side.
Members of Brian Lohanโs senior panel are included in all but two lines of the team (goalkeeper and midfield).
Adam Hogan captains the side from full-back with his clubmate Ronan OโConnor and last yearโs corner back Ian MacNamara on either side of him. Aaron Shanahan who played alongside the Feakle duo on the St Josephโs Tulla Harty Cup winning side of 2021 lines out between the posts.
Having impressed in the centre back spot for Clooney/Quinโs seniors last season, John Conneally wears the jersey for the county U21s with Daithรญ Lohan and Oran Cahill flanking him.
Ex county minor captain Sean Rynne partners Whitegateโs Conor Whelan in the middle of the field while the attack is led by Patrick Crotty and Keith Smyth starting at centre and full forward respectively.
Niall OโFarrell a Croke Cup winner with Ard Scoil Rรญs last season joins Oisin OโDonnell in the half-forward line while the lively duo of David Kennedy from Sixmilebridge and last yearโs county minor sharpshooter Jack OโNeill complete the full-forward line.
TG4 will be streaming the game on their YouTube channel, click HERE for more information. Throw is at 2pm in Cusack Park on Saturday.
Tipperary are managed by Brendan Cummins and have also named their starting team. It includes six members of the side which contested last yearโs Munster U20 final that lost out to Limerick by four points.
