ENNISโ€™ TRACY GUILFOYLE was among the medal winners at the World Masters Athletics.

Held in Tampere, Finland in the middle of July, Irish masters athletes with a team of 89 aging from 35 to 78 years old were in action on the world stage.

A total of twenty gold medals were secured by Team Ireland with fifteen silver and seventeen bronze medals obtained.

Alongside Catherine Oโ€™Connor and Donna Evans, Tracy collected a silver medal for their run in the Half Marathon. She won bronze as an individual in the half marathon also.

In Ennis, Tracy oversees the running club, Love2Run, she has a fitness studio with her son Ezra, Heart Health and Fitness.
