AN OUTSTANDING Kilkenny performance mixed with a below-par display from Clare brought the curtain down on the Banner’s run in this year’s All-Ireland SHC.

Kilkenny recorded a 2-26 0-20 win in front of an attendance of 39,626 to book their spot in the All-Ireland final for the first time since 2019 while Clare’s hopes of making the decider for the first time since 2013 came undone.

On the latest episode of The Water Break, two-time All-Ireland SHC winner and coach of the Clare SHC and Munster club winning Ballyea side of 2016, Fergal Hegarty and All-Ireland club winner Patsy Fahey of St Josephs Doora/Barefield, a former coach of Gort and Corofin and ex manager of the Clare senior camogie side.
