Kildysart will face St Breckan’s in the Cusack Cup final while St Josephs Doora/Barefield booked their place in the semi-finals of the Garry Cup.

Kildysart secured a Cusack Cup final date with St Breckan’s in what will be a repeat of last year’s O’Gorman Cup decider and the 2019 Clare IFC final.
They overcame Doonbeg by the smallest of margins on Sunday evening.
Having finished second on the league table, Kildysart had home advantage and as their own pitch is unavailable due to a major re-development programme, they opted for Clarecastle for this game.
After exchanging points in the opening minutes, Doonbeg hit the next four scores to open a 0-5 to 0-1 lead at the end of the first quarter.
A Kildysart goal from Keith Murphy closed the gap to the minimum but Doonbeg responded with a brace of points before Diarmuid O’Donnell struck for the winner’s second goal, a score which levelled the tie at 2-1 to 0-7.
Kildysart quickly added a brace of points and when the half time whistle sounded they led by two, 2-3 to 0-7.
The magpies levelled early in the second half but Kildysart quickly went back in front and seven minutes into the half they had opened a three point lead with the score at 2-6 to 0-9.
By the mid point of the half the winners were four points in front but an Eoin Killeen goal for Doonbeg cut the margin to the minimum and they levelled with seven minutes remaining, 2-9 to 1-12,
With the game heading into injury time, Diarmuid O’Donnell landed the winner for Kildysart who will take on St. Breckans in the final.

St. Josephs Doora/Barefield booked a place in the semi-final of the Garry Cup (division 2) when they overcame the challenge of O’Curry’s in this play off at Kilmihil on Friday evening.
The players had to contend with difficult playing conditions which contributed to the low scoring on the evening. Heavy rain and a strong wind made matters very difficult for the players.
St. Josephs had the aid of the elements in the first half and this helped them to a 0-6 to 0-1 lead at the interval.
With the assistance of the wind, the West Clare side fought back and helped by a goal from Shane Brown they rallied to within a point of the Doora/Barefield outfit.
However, St. Josephs were more evenly balanced and they held on for a merited win and a place in the semi-final against title holders, Lissycasey.
