A SHANNON businessman has been shortlisted in Forbesโ 30 under 30 list.

While completing his studies for a Masters in Business Law in UL, Abhilash founded the Shannon based distribution company. Failte Solar has gone from success to success and is now a leader in the solar energy business in Ireland. In 2020, the company had a turnover of โฌ2m, in 2021 it was just shy of โฌ6m and the forecast for 2022 is to โฌ15 to โฌ20m.
Abhilash is just one of three other recipients chosen in Ireland and joins 27 others from throughout Europe. This recognition places Abhilash in the world’s most impactful community of young entrepreneurs and game-changers and places Ireland in a unique position as a world leader in the business and commercial arena.
With a showroom, offices and a warehouse in Shannon, Failte Solar through Abhilash has introduced over 40 of the leading manufacturers of solar products to Ireland.
In an interview with The Clare Echo in May of last year, Abhilash expressed his hope of becoming a millionaire before turning thirty. โMy target is to become a millionaire before I turn 30. We have achieved a โฌ2m turnover already, this year, the second year target is around โฌ3-โฌ4m and we will meet it. I booked the stock for December, our whole stock is booked already and I donโt need to worry about this part, the stock weโre taking this year is close to 2.5 to 3 million so we need to sell it allโ.
