SCARIFF RFC’s U14 ladies side have advanced to the Munster Development Bowl final.

In what is a first for the club, the East Clare side will compete in the provincial decider on April 9th. On Saturday, they recorded a very narrow 20-19 victory over tough opponents in the guise of Youghal Midleton played in Cork.

With twelve teams in the competition, all involved with Scariff RFC view their progression as a fantastic achievement given that the group of girls have only been playing together for a period of five months.

Ella O’Casey, Isobella McKenna, Ruby Wiley Murphy and Sadhbh Whelan were the try scorers in the semi-final which Milly Spazzi, Eliza Wiley and Hollie Turner showcasing some excellent runs during the win.
