CLARE’s senior camogie side will line out in Croke Park as part of a double header with the county’s hurlers this weekend.
Saturday’s 0-16 1-8 win over Offaly ensured Clare will be in the quarter-finals of the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland senior camogie championship for the second year running.
On Monday, Eugene Foudy’s side were drawn against Tipperary with Kilkenny to face Waterford in the other quarter-final. Cork and Galway finished as the top two sides in Group 1 and advance directly to the semi-finals.
Both of the quarter-finals will be played as curtain-raisers to the All-Ireland SHC semi-finals. Clare’s camogie side will be hopeful to capitalise on extra support with the senior hurlers facing off with Limerick in Croke Park following their game.
Neighbours Waterford and Kilkenny will face off prior to the clash of Cork and Galway in the All-Ireland SHC semi-final on Saturday.

A new structure for the championship saw the top four seeded teams drawn against each other in Group 1. Tipperary found matters difficult here and failed to win any of their four games but still find themselves sixty minutes from an All-Ireland semi-final.
