A CLARE Lotto player has won €42,031 after matching five numbers and the bonus in Wednesday night’s draw.

The winning ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at Clancy’s Centra, Loughville, Lahinch Road, Ennis, Co. Clare.

The winning numbers were 13, 16, 18, 31, 34 and 38, with 29 as the bonus number.

The National Lottery confirmed there was one Match 5 + Bonus winner, who received €42,031.

The win comes as thousands of visitors are expected in Clare this week for the golf.

National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer said: “While this weekend’s golf tournament brings thousands of golf fans to Clare, one Clare Lotto player has already enjoyed a winning round after matching five numbers and the bonus to secure €42,031 in Wednesday night’s draw.

We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a Quick Pick ticket at Centra Loughville Motors on Lahinch Road in Ennis to check their tickets carefully today. If you’re holding the winning ticket, be sure to sign the back of it and contact our Prize Claims team so arrangements can be made to collect your prize.”

The Clare ticketholder is advised to sign the back of their ticket and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or claims@lottery.ie. Arrangements will then be made for the winner to collect their prize at Lottery Headquarters.

There was no winner of Wednesday night’s €2,381,369 Lotto jackpot, meaning Saturday’s jackpot is now expected to reach an estimated €2.8 million.
