Siobhán Divilly has been honoured at a Civic Reception hosted by Ballinasloe Municipal District after being named AIB Ladies Gaelic Football Club Player of the Year for 2025/2026.

Held last Wednesday evening, the event recognised Divilly’s sporting achievements and her role in the success of Kilkerrin-Clonberne LGFA.

Cathaoirleach Peter Keaveney (FG) praised the team’s contribution to the community and said Divilly had become an inspiration for young players across Galway.

She was presented with an engraved Galway Crystal trophy to mark the occasion.

Vastly experienced at club and county level, Siobhan is off the back of a phenomenal season which culminated in Kilkerrin-Clonbern winning a fifth successive All-Ireland Ladies Club SFC title.

An often-underrated player, Siobhán operates around the middle third with minimum fuss, providing a crucial link between defence and attack. Siobhán was Player of the Match in the 2025 AIB All-Ireland Senior Club final.
